We bring you Winter Functions in the Junction
(Indirectly a part of FROSTival 2023)
Free to Participate:
Snowperson Building/Snow Sculptures Contest (Legion Property)
Starting Building Feb.2 to Thursday-Feb.4 @5pm (Judging starts at 5pm)
Teams must be 3-5 members; one must be over the age of 18.
This is a fun family event held on Legion property. Please keep your sculptures appropriate.
Teams will have three full days to carve and scalp with hand tools.
-no power tools allowed.
Snow quality may vary per nature’s will.
You will need to have a sign on display with your name and name of your Sculpture/Snowperson etc.
There will be areas marked off for each group.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in three different categories:
Creativity, Overall and Most Characteristics.

Wagon/Sleigh Rides (Tri-County Complex)
(snow levels will determine which will be available)
Sunday February 5th, 10:00am – 4:00pm (1/2 hr break for lunch)
Stay Warm & Enjoy a free hot chocolate inside the Old Rec Center
while waiting to take a ride around the back field of the Complex.
Tri-County Complex Kitchen Open 3:00-5:00pm
(Serving Homemade Beef Barley & Turkey Soup with a Roll)
4:00pm: Informal Banquet for Prizes in the ME Phillips Room at the Tri-County Complex
Awards for Snowperson Making & Sculptures, Snowshoe Races, Bowling, and Curling
The collaborative efforts of these organizations and volunteers were inspired
in light of our growing communities and the need to introduce our facilities & their services
to the Greater Tri-County Area.
This Annual Event provides families and individuals of all ages
an opportunity to make new friends and participate in some Winter Fun.
